Hands up if you own something from Love, Bonito. Even if you don’t, chances are, you’ve heard of the brand. The homegrown womenswear retailer has come a long way, from a simple blogshop in 2006 to a thriving multi-million dollar business today, and not to mention one of the most recognisable brands in Singapore.
Love, Bonito has now unveiled a new identity, one that celebrates and uplift Asian women with apparel that is Ready-to-live, not just ready-to-wear.
Fronting the new campaign is a powerhouse line-up of women ambassadors: Korean-American Hollywood actress Arden Cho; Malaysian singer Yuna; American writer Chanel Miller; and mother-daughter content creator duo Gym Tan and Mya Rose Miller. They were chosen for their individuality and outlook that challenge stereotypes surrounding Asian women.
The brand also unveiled a new heart-shaped monogram brand logo “LB” that embraces femininity, contemporary and boldness in Asian women. The physical boutiques and online store will be revamped progressively to reflect the transition.
The new collections are designed for confidence, versatility and functionality, and feature flattering silhouettes and shades, emphatic details, and machine-washable breathable fabrics for work, holidays, weekends and special occasions. In short, clothes for real women leading everyday lives.
The Signatures collection is sophisticated, modern and timeless, and comprises feminine elegant favourites for daily wear and special occasions.
The Staples folio consists of classic pieces and versatile wardrobe builders for both work and weekend.
The monthly capsule collections are designed for celebrations and key festive seasons like Christmas and Lunar New Year with modern interpretations, inspired by Asian culture, traditions, heritage and style.
