From Jul 26 to Aug 11, the world’s top athletes will gather at the Paris 2024 Olympics in a show of sporting excellence and shared values such as respect, inclusion and diversity.
To commemorate the occasion, Swatch has launched the Olympic Paris Games 2024 Collection, a stylish and sporty range of watches dedicated to some of the event’s newest action sports.
Representing skateboarding, a sport that made its debut in Tokyo 2020, is Blue Heelflip ($182), a 42mm New Chrono presented in rich blue tones with pink hour and minute hands and a golden-coloured seconds hand. The chronograph function allows you to time the action at the skatepark, or your own daily sports activities.
Green Backside Wave ($122) celebrates surfing, a sport that similarly made waves for the first time in history at the Tokyo games. The watch features a matte dark green dial, contrasting pink strap underside and glow-in-the-dark hour and minute hands. At 41mm, this New Gent Biosourced model is sleek enough to fit under a wetsuit but big enough to stand out and catch the eye in the water or on a surfboard.
Beach volleyball and volleyball are the inspirations for Purple Rollshot ($106). The classic 34 mm Swatch Gent Biosourced model features lilac and pink hues, and looks appropriately stylish both on court at the heart of the action, or on the edge of your seat watching the match unfold. All three watches feature a loop with a multi-coloured print inspired by its respective sport.
