Much can change in the course of a year. When Dua Lipa first came to Singapore for her Asia debut last May, her star was still faintly on the rise. Signed with Warner Bros Records since 2015, she presented an intimate acoustic showcase of early hits.
This year, a newly inducted member of the teen pop star hall of fame, the award-winning artist is blessing us all—by returning to our shores for a full solo concert.
Come May 4, the English-Albanian pop star will perform a one-night only show at the Esplanade Theatre, presented by Live Nation. Tickets go on sale Feb 26 from $88 via Apac Tix—and trust that this time, there will be blood. Since the drop of her self-titled album Dua Lipa in June last year, the 22-year-old singer has become a household name, thanks to chart-toppers like “New Rules”, “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” and “IDGAF”. “New Rules” famously became Lipa’s first number one in the UK, and has since become a worldwide teen anthem; not to mention the inspiration behind endless parody videos.
When it comes to Dua Lipa’s May concert, we too have just one rule: One, don’t pick up the phone—because you’ll want to be camped online for tickets on Feb 26.
We can’t wait to see you too
