Hang in there guys. Just three more sleeps before this year’s St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay. Year in and year out, they never fail to outdo themselves with the extensive and eclectic selection of musicians they bring in. And this year’s no different—23 acts, three stages, one day.
But besides the guitar rockers, button-pushers and local and regional heroes we all love and look forward to annually, Laneway continues to push boundaries and stay relevant by including prominent hip hop artists for the first time this year. We couldn’t ask for more, especially with greats like Grammy-nominated rapper and singer Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Laneway alumnus and Californian soul outfit The Internet, Singapore rapper THELIONCITYBOY and Southeast Asia’s Queen of hip hop and reggae MAS1A in the mix.
The only thing that kept us awake at night, though, was wondering if their set times would clash. But all is good and well in the world because the set times have just been released, so have a gander below below and plan out who you want to see for your personal musical pilgrimage this year.
