Star Flyer at Prudenial Marina Bay Carnival

CARNIVAL
Get your adrenaline pumping at Singapore’s largest carnival. The massive Prudential Marina Bay Carnival will span across 25,000 sqm (or the size of three and a half football fields) at The Promontory and Bayfront, and boasts more than 40 rides and games—most of which are from the UK, Germany and Italy. FILM
Dunkirk may not have won the best picture at this year’s Oscars, but it did go home with the awards for Best Sound Editing, best Sound Mixing and Best Film Editing. Dodo at Treasures of the Natural World

World renowned chef and restaurateur, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, will be in town to whip up a one-night-only special menu in celebration of The Dempsey Cookhouse & Bar’s first anniversary. EXHIBITION
On the 75th anniversary of the fall of Singapore, the National Museum of Singapore remembers 1942, with their first large-scale, blockbuster war exhibition featuring more than 130 artefacts from 10 overseas museums and institutions. Following the the performance of the ‘El Ronqueo De Atún’, a 3,000 year-old traditional Spanish art of dissecting a whole tuna, for the first time in Singapore on Tuesday, the FOC Group of restaurants will be serving up special menus featuring parts of the celebrated fish. On Wednesday, expect Spanish-Japanese set lunch and dinner menus at FOC Restaurant on Hong Kong Street, then head on over to FOC PIM PAM in Orchard on Thursday for a selection of tapas using different parts of the bluefin tuna. Hot on the heels of The Imaginarium of Disco David, local nomadic theater group And So Forth is back with a new pop-up feast planned.
