Head to Sentosa to feast at the Asian Night Market: Taiwan Food Festival

Recreating a downsized version of the popular Ningxia Night Market from Taipei at Sentosa is Asian Night Market: Taiwan Food Festival. From now till Feb 9, head to the popular beach destination to check out the stretch along Siloso Point and Siloso Beach, as more than 30 stall vendors will be flying in from Taiwan to set up shop there and dish out eats.

Seize the opportunity to try authentic Taiwanese street bites without leaving the country; dishes like oyster omelette, scallion pancakes, deep-fried chicken cutlet and flaming beef cubes will all arrive. Plus, Taiwanese Chef-entrepreneur Cheng Cheng Chung will also be in town to serve his beloved beef noodles.

While food is definitely the highlight of this event, it won’t be the only one. Mandopop performances can be expected, by local artistes such as Wang Weiliang, Bunz, Ruth Kueo, Tay Kexin, Cold Cut Duo and more.

And to help you get to Sentosa to enjoy the festival as soon as it begins, use the promo code Sentosaspring for $5 off your transport fee. See you there folks; remember to bust out your loosest pair of pants for this.
