42 awesome things to do in Singapore this July

It’s getting too hot here, perhaps that’s why the idea of heading into a freezer sounds so appealing right now. And we’re getting to do just that at the next ice factory rave by The Council—it’s an excuse to bust out our dusty winter clothes too. And before that happens towards the end of the month, we’re also throwing our very own glowing party on Jul 10, together with the folks from Hotel G. We’ll see you at both dancefloors.

DRINK
Craft bourbon Maker’s Mark is bringing their distillery experience to Singapore, where four immersive rooms, a cocktail bar and a lawn lounge await. Drink up and feast on hearty American grub (it’s 4th of July after all) all within the confines of a charming colonial bungalow in Orchard. Jul 3-6

It’s gonna be lit (literally) at Clarke Quay’s central fountain square, as some of the area’s most playful concepts gather to throw a neon-soaked bash. At three-day game party Game On! Bar Rouge Shanghai is taking over Bar Rouge Singapore with The Original, their signature party series where resident DJs Keint and John Avolio will be bringing all the mischief and mayhem they’re known for onto the sky-high dance floor. Jul 6

Esquina is taking over Jiak Chuan road for a San Fermin Alley Party, where everyone’s welcome to come dressed in white t-shirts (or a bull) and to feast on $10 food and drinks while the DJ spins. Make sure you do it right and get your shirt stained in red wine. Jul 7

ART/FESTIVAL

For the first time in Singapore, budding artists and art lovers alike will be able to get a glimpse of Indonesian artist Vani Hidayatur Rahman’s eye-catching artworks.
