Eat, shop and catch online performances at this year’s virtual Ramadan bazaar

The ever-popular Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar may not be happening physically for the second year in a row, but nothing’s stopping its usual organisers from taking the fun online.

Happening from now till May 12, the all-new Bazaar Kita is a collaboration between Wisma Geylang Serai and Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry which offers the familiarity of Ramadan bazaars, except online.

Essentially a one-stop Ramadan portal that features a well-rounded virtual bazaar experience, Bazaar Kita is sparing no effort in replicating the feel of physical bazaars locals know and love.

Simply head online to check out the website that has partnered with GrabMart, Shopee and Bungkus to host merchants selling a myriad of retail and F&B items.

Merchants peddling packaged food, gifts, and products are featured on GrabMart and Shopee, while ready-to-eat or hot meals are available on Bungkus SG—a Halal food delivery platform.

In fact, with over 110 merchants ranging from F&B to home decor, Bazaar Kita is bound to meet shoppers’ every need this Hari Raya Puasa.

Besides retail options, the portal will also feature weekly live performances from Wisma Geylang Serai and charity organisations. Audiences can feel free to make donations through digital means as well.

So just revel in the digital celebrations taking place this year, and who knows, large-scale events and festivals may even return very soon.

Bazaar Kita runs from now till May 12 online. More information available here.
