Opened just in time for the festive season is Snow City’s brand new Ice Hotel Gallery, where visitors can enjoy a Nordic winter getaway without the PCR test and uncertainties.
Replacing the Arctic Snow Playground, the new highlight is to be certified as Singapore’s First Ice Hotel Gallery Experience by the Singapore Book of Records. There, it transports visitors to the Arctic Circle right here in the tropics. Set in a cool, crisp environment that simulates ice hotels found in Finland, Norway and Sweden with temperatures measuring at a frosty -5 degrees Celsius, this immersive attraction will be your instant getaway to a Nordic winter wonderland.
So look forward to lounging at the Ice Bar furnished with chairs, couches and tables fashioned out of ice blocks while admiring intricate ice sculptures carved by local award-winning artisan Jeffrey Ng. These works of art will depict scenes with animals, flora and fauna.
But that’s not the only activity you can expect to enjoy at Snow City this holiday season; guests can take the festive fun up a notch by engaging in a battle in a sub-zero shooting arena, or go for an ice bumper car ride.
Entry to the Ice Hotel Gallery experience is priced at $17 onwards and includes access to the rest of Snow City’s features including the Snow Field and Arctic Snow Slide.
