Catch world-class table tennis action at Our Tampines Hub this month

Thirty-two of the world’s best paddlers are set to descend on Singapore from Nov 21 to 24 as the T2 Diamond Table Tennis League rolls into Our Tampines Hub.

The star-studded line-up for T2 Diamond 2019 Singapore includes top 10 players Tomokazu Harimoto of Japan, Lin Yun-Ju of Chinese Taipei and Patrick Franziska of Germany in the Men’s Singles, and Mima Ito, Miu Hirano and Kasumi Ishikawa of Japan in the Women’s Singles. Local heroes Clarence Chew and Yu Mengyu will step up to fly the flag for Singapore. Up for grabs are a combined purse of US$500,000 and as many as 1,000 ITTF Ranking Points per event.

And if you think this is a conventional ping-pong tournament, think again. The revolutionary T2 Diamond championship has a unique circular field of play—the T2Cavern—where fans get 360-degree views of matches against the kind of spectacular audio-visual backdrop you’d expect to find at a concert. The pace is breathless, and the thrills are constant.

Tickets are available from $25 on weekdays, $45 on Saturday and $75 on Sunday via Sistic. For more information, head to the T2 Diamond website.
