Come Dec 6-8, the F1 Pit Building will once again play host to a rambunctious celebration of hip-hop music, streetwear, street art and even toys, as Culture Cartel returns, following its inaugural edition last year.
While it’s a given that a wide range of street apparel and accessories will be available, expect the unexpected with interactive exhibitions, masterclasses and other activities.
Having curated some of the trendiest streetwear brands from across the region like Cazh from Thailand and Hong Kong’s Raw Emotions, the convention will spotlight some homegrown brands like Limited Edt and The Corner Shop. Additionally, major sports and lifestyle brands such as New Balance, Vans, Puma and Reebok will also grace the event.
Toy collectors can meet renowned toy designers Coarse and Luke Chueh from Los Angeles, as the two are part of this year’s line-up, with Chueh even conducting masterclasses to share the secrets of his craft. Meanwhile, American graffiti artists Crash and Stash will be present at the festival too, with their exclusive, customised merchandise, made in collaboration with none other than Culture Cartel themselves.
Feel like getting inked? Allow Noko Nishigaki, the young but highly-skilled 11-year-old daughter of blackwork tattoo maestro Gakkin to do you the honours. Or, have famed American watercolour tattoo artist Sasha Unisex tatt you up real nice.
More details have yet to be released, although its initial line-up is already looking pretty sick. Tickets to Culture Cartel are likely to be sold out, so get your hands on some early bird tickets quickly, which are on sale now till Oct 31. There are both the one-day and three-day entry passes, but if you want to be crowned the greatest of all time, get the G.O.A.T Pass. It not only guarantees you early entry to the festival on Dec 6, but also access to an exclusive lounge that comes with complimentary F&B, as well as the CC Conversations Stage; plus a very special G.O.A.T pack, reserved solely for the best. You won’t want to pass this up (pun intended).
