Popular food fiesta Eatbox has officially announced its 2021 return. So come September, local foodies can look forward to trying a wide variety of eats—all in one place.
In its takeover of Tekka Place near Rochor MRT, the festival by the same folks behind Artbox Singapore and Shilin Night Market will occupy 9,500 sq ft of space as the creative food hall features 20 booths and four kiosks.
Simply explore the dining convention as confirmed F&B vendors are introducing refreshing, new items that provide local twists on global favourites. That includes Satay Ummi’s Nasi Lemak, Butcher The Burger Bar’s Butcher Truffle Eggstarter as well as Okinawa Onigiri’s Onigiri-Sandwich.
Organising company Invade has also disclosed that the event will be partnering with industry experts to enhance the Eatbox experience while empowering local businesses. Eatbox 2021’s partners include Temasek Polytechnic’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Programme, MC Payment and Seed Ventures. They will work closely with vendors to provide funding opportunities, resources and contactless payment options to improve and grow businesses.
But besides Eatbox’s food offerings, Invade will also be creating two additional mainstays. Expect a thematic experience centre not unlike a ginormous playground as well as a recreational content space in the basement. More details on these concepts will be revealed in due time.
So mark your calendars for Eatbox at Tekka Place this September; food just tastes better at food festivals and immersive pop-ups.
