Popular otter-themed attraction Otah & Friends is back. Following three successful pop-ups all over town, the whimsical showcase is now headed to the National Museum of Singapore to host its largest experience to date.
As the fourth exhibition, the immersive playground will continue to be a lighthearted escape room affair featuring imaginative storytelling, various props, sets and even interactive gameplay.
Bringing visitors on an adventure through a magical forest, the brand new experience named Camp Stardust is actually inspired by National Museum of Singapore’s William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings too.
So look forward to an otter-themed extravaganza from Nov 15-Mar 20, 2022, where visitors will race against time to help an ancient fallen star reunite with the night sky. Recruited as Stardust Scouts, guests will complete various challenges to collect four courage badges to help the star grow and glow.
Not only will locals get to traverse four different themed rooms, all will have a chance to rummage through a ball pit, navigate a dark maze and even climb over a ropes obstacle course—while picking up tidbits of knowledge on the William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings.
In fact, Camp Stardust will also present a brand new character: Sambal the Sambar Deer. An homage to the museum’s prized collection, the mythical forest playground will hold many secrets just waiting to be uncovered.
Furthermore, Otah & Friends will be introducing Singapore’s first-ever kids-sized photo booth and otter-themed self studio. In collaboration with Dollop Photobooths, visitors will be able to choose between different photo-taking options to commemorate their journey at Camp Stardust.
Finally, tickets to the latest Otah & Friends attraction are priced at $24 per person, while groups of five will enjoy a special rate of $19 per person. The whole experience duration will be 55mins.
