Enjoy magic shows, fitness classes and even comedy programmes at the new Peatix Live Festival

There is nothing quite as exciting as discovering a new hobby or engaging in a brand new activity.

And enabling electrifying experiences since 2011 is global ticketing platform Peatix, which has just announced its latest Peatix Live Festival to offer more of those cool workshops, shows and programmes to audiences across the world.

Happening from Sep 30-Oct 2, this livestream festival will showcase 21 carefully curated events that present the best up-and-comers in their industries. From the arts to magic, and fitness to comedy, the festival boasts a wide range of opportunities for creators and learners alike.

Pick up a tip or learn a new skill with The Barely Legal Team as they explore techniques used in food styling and photography. For the aspiring entrepreneur, look out for sessions hosted by Joel Neoh (founder of Fave), Kee Ming Yu (co-founder of The Hacker Collective), and Bob Low (a B2B Marketing Consultant).

Missing the stage? Take your pick with an English Rakugo experience by Shinoharu, a provocative play by ARAS Theater on malay Muslim females working in a massage parlour, or even a Japanese production inspired by Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw.

Engage in deeper journeys with a community dialogue on personal challenges and triumphs, or take some time to enjoy The Tori Art Festival. Presented in Japanese, the event features artworks and performances planned and organised by the local community.

Also participate in fitness classes suitable for all levels with Coach Nadia’s strength and core training, as well as Jane Phang’s total body pilates.

Entertainment panels include music by Brendan de Cruz, Pe-Tik Akustik, Masia One, Ray Cheong, Reening Lau, Leandra Lane, the Anne Weerapass Quartet, and even a tribute to Feng Fei Fei with Music Dreamer.

Finally, interact and witness miracles on Saturday Night Magic with some of Asia’s most prolific magicians, or just kick back and have a good laugh at Comedy Power Hour with Malaysia’s stand-up powerhouses.
