Foodpanda is throwing a block party on Amoy Street next month

We’ve seen a number of awesome block parties happen the past years, but the more the merrier, we say. And thanks to good ol’ Foodpanda (in collab with Sunshine Nation), there’s now one more annual block party to look forward to—and it’s a plastic-free one at that.

Encouraging us to head out for grub rather than order in on Sep 9, Foodpanda is bringing their Bites & Vibes festival (yes, it’s the same one they throw in various cities worldwide) to where else but block party central Amoy Street, marking the first time the event is being held in Singapore.

There’ll be plenty of food, of course, with some choice vendors including the likes of Vatos Urban Tacos (for saucy Mexican fare), Park Bench Deli (who offer probably the best sandwiches in town) and Dumpling Darlings (for delicious bite-sized eats). Expect lots of cocktails, beers and wines too, courtesy of Proof & Co., Tiger, and PengWine.

To complete the block party vibe, activities and music performances abound. Engage in free fitness classes with people from Pure Fitness, F45 Training and WeBarre, or just have fun and mess around with lawn games like XXL Jenga. Bringing the tunes are both local and international acts including Sam Rui, Maricelle and DJ Mack Hampson, who’ll be serenading us with their best throughout the day.

Bites & Vibes is a free event and takes place Sep 9, 12pm-10pm along Amoy St.
