Guinness’ Great Grill Out is back in Nov with more beers and BBQ eats

Rejoice, lovers of grilled meats and stouts. Guinness’ The Great Grill Out is back for round two after its inaugural edition last year, this time, with more to eat and do than before.

The Great Grill Out 2019, happening Nov 2-3, is heading to the Dempsey enclave for its second edition, at 27A Loewen Road. It’s where the art museum used to be, near the newly opened Baker & Cook. Expect plenty of rich and creamy Guinness available for $10 a pint, to go with grilled eats by local favourites like Camp Kilo Charcoal Club, Red Eye Smokehouse, Sidecar Sausages and Meat Smith.

Going beyond meats, there’ll be unagi by Man Man Japanese Unagi Restaurant and wholesome veggies by Frank Food Company this year, so there’s something for you even if BBQ isn’t your thing. There’s even a farmers market to shop at this time, where socially-conscious lifestyle goods abound.

For finer eats, the Guinness pop-up restaurant is making a comeback, where for $68, get a five-course meal paired with limited-edition, festival-only beers flown all the way from the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Dublin.

Or simply take part in free interactive workshops and masterclasses to learn the basics of grilling, how to infuse Guinness into baking, and more. We’ll see you there.

The Great Grill Out 2019 takes place Nov 2-3 at 27A Loewen Road from 12-10pm. Register for free entry, or get your tickets at the door for $20 (comes with a pint of Guinness).
