Space constraints in Singapore restrict a decent Nerf battle; shooting foam darts around a regular household may be out of the question for most.
However, fans of the toy weaponry can now round up their squad and head to Marina Square to experience the full dart-blasting package. Spanning a whole 18,000 square feet, the Nerf Action Xperience encompasses four zones of play for visitors—Compete, Conquer, Challenge and Create.
Grab your choice of weapons and armoury to gear up for a zombie apocalypse at Compete, where the Blue and Orange teams battle zombie-infested grounds to acquire the vaccine, or fight it out battle royale-style at Camp Dune. Here, the goal is to gather as many of your opposing team’s flags as you can for points.
Charge into the Conquer zone, where participants are forced to conquer their fears through scaling towering rope obstacle courses or making a narrow escape from an active volcano on the verge of eruption. Conquer takes the thrill up to the next level with high terrains and time-sensitive challenges that require aim and speed.
After all that adrenaline, wind down at Challenge’s Refuel Bar or at its smaller scale rope courses and playgrounds. You can even bring home your very own DIY souvenir, crafted at Create. Pick out colours to load up your Nerf water guns to create abstract pieces on blank t-shirts and tote bags. Don’t forget to pick up exclusive Nerf blasters and merchandise at the retail store before heading home.
