Jesse McCartney is finally Singapore-bound for his 2019 tour

It seems like it was only yesterday teenybopper hit “Beautiful Soul” was constantly on the airwaves, but here’s a piece of trivia that will blow your mind: The catchy tune by Jesse McCartney was released in 2004, chalking it up to 15 years since its initial release.

That makes it bewildering to say that this July will mark Jesse’s debut in Singapore as part of his The Resolution Tour. Fans can catch the American singer-songwriter on stage at the Gateway Theatre come Jul 14 for the very first time on our humid shores. Sale of public tickets begin Apr 12 with prices starting at $108.

Following a short break from recording ever since his last album In Technicolor in 2014, Jesse broke his hiatus with “Better With You”; a reintroduction to his easy-listening acoustic bubblegum pop roots accompanied by an even more compelling music video. Autumn of 2018 saw the release of “Wasted”; its subsequent music video impressively racking up over a million views on YouTube and charting fifth on the US iTunes.

Jesse isn’t a one trick pony either and has a considerably long record of lead acting roles and cameos in prominent TV series to show for it. Most fans who have grown up with posters of the heartthrob tacked up on bedroom walls fondly remember his guest appearances on Disney Channel classics such as Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and even lending his voice to Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks. He has since gone on to venture into films directed at a more mature audience, as seen from his role in horror flick Chernobyl Diaries. Oh, and since “Beautiful Soul”, he’s become a Grammy-winning songwriter for co-writing Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love”; no biggie.

Can’t get enough of Jesse? VIP packages are also available for fans to get up close and personal—encompassing of a meet-and-greet photo session with the star, “Just So You Know”.
