First, pay a visit to MHC as an Insta-worthy art installation has been erected on compound grounds, reimagining traditional Hari Raya light decorations. A collaborative effort between MHC and Tina Fung of Space Objekt, the immersive and engaging exhibit draws inspiration from Singapore’s past and future. It also pays homage to the architectural landscape of Kampong Gelam, with patterns reminiscent of Malay motifs designed by local artist Reza Hasni.

While you’re at the cultural centre snapping photos of the gorgeous outdoor display, be sure to check out programmes like drop-in craft activities and musical performances too. Try your hand at making ketupat, hand puppets, and batik money packets; before enjoying funky percussion beats thanks to the musos at NADI Singapura.
But those who are too busy hosting intimate home parties can instead tune into online events like the Ramadan & Budaya Raya Trivia for some fun with friends. There’s also the entertaining TikTok dance challenge where you and your crew can flaunt your dance skills.
Just check out the full line-up of activities here.
Selamat Hari Raya Puasa!
