Miss Coachella already? Whabby! Music Carnival is here to satisfy your music fix as it launches its first ever festival here in celebration of all things local.
The full-day affair plans to bring an entertainment lineup of entirely local acts, such as rapper Axel Brizzy, garage rock trio Knightingale, quirky synth-heavy soul group The MadHatter Project, instrumental world music band Flame of The Forest and radio DJ-cum-singer songwriter Joshua Simon; and all hosted by our favourite YouTube comedian Hirzi.
Live music aside, the day will also incorporate dance and art performances, games, F&B, art and even a village market featuring local crafters to seal the deal. Dynamic dance duo Scrach Marcs performs an exciting set at the carnival, showcasing the couple’s signature popping style, while 15-piece Batucada pop band Motus ups the ante with Brazilian samba beats.

Over ten acts are slated to take the stage at the *Scape Playspace, according to the first wave announcement of Whabby! Music Carnival. Throwing in a couple of local DJs into the mix, the day looks to be shaping up pretty rad.
Whabby! Music Carnival happens Jun 22 from 12pm at *Scape Playspace. Tickets are free here. More information available here.
