With all the troubling news and issues plaguing the world today, it would be nice to wind down with a good laugh, cool tunes, glass in hand. And your chance to do exactly that will be arriving very soon, as Singapore’s first high quality digital entertainment experience is happening this weekend (Nov 21-22), providing a series of exhilarating performances.
Featuring an electrifying line-up of the country’s most established and budding musicians and comedians, Majulah Live 2020 will kick off with Majulah Comedy Live, dishing out humour that will get all knee-deep in laughter. Not only will Fakkah Fuzz and Sharul Channa be helming the stage together for the first time in 2020, but comics Jinx Yeo and Rishi Budhrani will be joining them too.
The local funny guys, who hold multiple accolades including a Netflix special and a weekly news parody series, will definitely provide some much-needed levity amid these challenging times.
Meanwhile, Majulah Music Live on Nov 22 will showcase a mix of local music mainstays and fresh new faces. Bringing together artistes from the Majulah Weekender series, hear from Fauxe, Shye, BGourd, Hairi Eyes, Jean Seizure and many more.
Audiences can also expect to enjoy live sets of original music by Aisyah Aziz and Jon Chua JX, with electro-pop multi-hyphenate Estelle Fly promising a show-stopping set backed by a team of dancers reuniting on-stage for the first time since 2019.
Broadcasting from the iconic Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands and streamed via iGO, Majulah Live 2020 will definitely lift spirits while supporting local talent. General Admission tickets are available at www.majulahfest.com at $15 each, while all-access passes for both days are priced at $25.
Majulah Live 2020 happens from Nov 21-22. More information available here.
