Virtual marketplace Carousell goes physical again with Carouselland this August

Ahhh, Carousell, the go-to app for many Singaporeans looking to both clear and add to their clutter.

Hoarders and sellers alike, take note: The virtual marketplace is going physical once again, and taking it up a notch for their fourth edition of Carouselland, where an actual market will take shape at the Sands Expo and Convention Center come August.

Themed “Small Dreams, Big Possibilities”, this year’s event stretches across three days with an extensive list of over 300 vendors manning booths offering various knick-knacks in honour of everyday aspirations—including anything from vintage clothes and accessories to retro games and home decor.

Objects won’t be the only things available at Carouselland; acquire some knowledge at the 30 workshops and sharing sessions hosted by Carousell’s resident entrepreneurs and hobbyists to gain insight into their worlds. And if you’re itching for some activities, slink away from the booths and escape into the designated game corner to make new friends playing retro, console and board games.

There is also a trail that guarantees prizes. Simply follow along on the interactive trail and you just might walk away with shopping vouchers to use at the fair, or exclusive Carousell merch so you can rep your favourite shopping app. Just remember to gather the crew to stage a photoshoot at any of the seven Instagrammable spots, then see if you can pick up a photo frame on your way out.

Carouselland takes place Aug 16-18 at Sands Expo and Convention Center Halls A & B. Admission is free. More info here.
