From a no-show in 2017 to becoming a three-day festival in 2018, and now back to a two-day format for their 2019 edition, music festival Neon Lights certainly has seen a lot of changes and have come a long way.
But as we awaited patiently for their 2019 lineup, wondering if it might even happen, they’ve now announced that award-winning British folk rock band Mumford & Sons will be one of their headline acts, in a mic drop move that sent shivers down our spines. It’ll be their first time here, and in fact, their debut act in all of Southeast Asia.
And that’s not all. As if we need more convincing to get tickets, electronic duo Honne is also set to enthrall us once again (after multiple sold-out shows here over the years) with their mesmerising synth tunes. Both Mumford & Sons and Honne will be playing the main stage on Saturday, Nov 23.
There are no further details on the festival, other than the fact that the two-day fest will take place at Fort Canning Park once more, and will go on from 1pm till late.
Tickets will go on sale Friday, Jul 19 at 9am. So get to work early and camp at your computers to make sure you snap up those $108 early bird tickets on their website or Sistic. Otherwise, Tier 2 tickets will kick in after, going for $128 each.
Two-day festival tickets will only go on sale once they’ve announced their Sunday headliners later this month. But don’t let that stop you from getting tickets early, as there’ll be an option to simply upgrade your ticket to a two-day one.
Neon Lights 2019 take place Nov 23-24 at Fort Canning Park.
