It’s no secret that the ‘20s-themed event series Party Like Gatsby has had a pretty rocky past in Singapore, particularly due to the cancellation of the show back in 2017 which was attributed to venue issues.
But it would now appear that The Great Gatsby-inspired party has gotten their act together, as the glitzy event will be heading our way for a one-night only show on Jun 13, with a confirmed venue onhand.
Set to be held at one of the Resorts World Sentosa ballrooms, expect to see an alluring and spectacular display of the ‘20s at its finest, as this blast to the past will take on a new theme of Cabaret Noir. And not only will several world-class performers showcase their moves in both a burlesque and circus format, live bands will offer tunes of electro swing and modern classics too. Plus, after the three-and-a-half hour extravaganza, DJs will take over to dish out fun numbers for audiences to jive to.
So don your best outfits modelled after the fashion of the 1920s, and head on down to RWS to experience this Gatsby party for yourselves. Now that it’s back, we’re sure the past three years were sufficient for the organisers (aka Jay Gatsby) to put together a new and improved concept for us to enjoy.
