Meet over 400 Alolan Pokemon at Sentosa’s Pokemon Carnival this June

Fans of Pokemon and its various film, television and video game franchises—ready your trainer suits; it’s time to catch ‘em all. From Jun 15-30, Sentosa Cove Village will be holding the Pokemon Carnival, just in time for the annual June school holidays. For the first time in Asia, Pokemon enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing all 403 Pokemon from the Pokemon region, Alola, on Sentosa island.

Pokemon Carnival will feature a multitude of activities, including screenings of family-friendly movies, Pokemon-themed carnival games, and photo points for all to snap pictures with their favourite Pokemon. The young-at-heart will be pleased to note the presence of a Pokemon-themed inflatable slide and ball pit. Between Jun 16-30, a Pikachu parade will be held on alternate evenings, for visitors to bop to beats with a dancing Pikachu. Those unable to catch the parades can still participate in meet-and-greet sessions with the much-adored Pokemon.

The entry to the carnival is essentially free, but a spending of any amount will allow you to embark on a Pokemon Adventure. By presenting a receipt of your expenditure from anywhere in Sentosa in June 2019, you’ll receive a Pokemon Adventure booklet and carnival game vouchers. Unleash your inner Ash Ketchum and complete the booklet, which will act as your guide and take you on an expedition around the Village, with a little help from your smartphone to scan QR codes for information.

Now, after you catch Pokemon Detective Pikachu in theatres, head to Sentosa Cove Village to meet and interact with these friendly, cute characters.

The Pokemon Carnival will be held at Sentosa Cove Village, from Jun 15-30, 5pm-9pm. More information here.
