Rock legends U2 to perform in Singapore for the first time on Nov 30

It’s a beautiful day, for Irish rock band U2 has announced their inclusion of Singapore as part of their Asian leg of The Joshua Tree Tour 2019.

“The Joshua Tree Tour will hit select stadiums in New Zealand, Australia, Japan—and for the first time ever—Singapore and South Korea later this year,” stated their official release.

This will be the first time they’re performing on our shores, and we can’t ask for more from Bono and gang, seeing as this tour will most likely resemble their resoundingly successful first Joshua Tree tour back in 2017, done in celebration of their best selling album’s 30th anniversary.

The tour will kick off in New Zealand on Nov 8, and ends in Seoul a month later on Dec 8. The Singapore showing will then take place over two days from Nov 30-Dec 1 at the National Stadium, after their Australia concerts and before their return to Tokyo since 2006.

Ticketing presales for the Singapore concert begins Monday, Jun 17 at 10am for U2.com subscribers, while general sales begin Thursday, Jun 20 at 10am. There will be a four-ticket limit for subscribers and an eight-ticket limit for public sales. See you there.

Tickets are priced from $98 to $368, and $588 onwards for priority and VIP packages. More info on U2’s tour dates and ticket sales here
