The RuPaul’s Drag Race world tour returns next year for yet another insane show

Yas gawd, our prayers have been answered, for it’s been confirmed that some of our favourite queens will return to our shores to serve charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. Come Feb 27, 2020, expect a one-night only, show-stopping performance riddled with glamour, as the RuPaul Drag Race’s Werq The World Tour (R18) will take on the humble venue of The Star Vista, transforming it into a wild spectacle to behold.

Following a very well-received performance back in February earlier this year—though its arrival did ruffle some (boa) feathers because of its LGBTQ+ content—Werq The World will be featuring a series of queens including beloved Aquaria, Kim Chi, Naomi Smalls and Violet Chachki, as well as RuPaul’s Drag Race season 11 stars Plastique Tiara, Vanessa Vanjie Mateo and the reigning queen, Yvie Oddly, in this intergalactic-themed showcase. And starring as the team’s mission leader is familiar face Michelle Visage, who has been on the judging panel of RuPaul’s Drag Race since season 3.

While there were only two Asian stops in its Werq The World 2019 tour, the 2020 world tour will see much more. A total of six destinations in Asia will be graced by the queens, including Singapore (duh), Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan and South Korea.

If there’s one thing we know about the tour, it’s that it’ll bring one hell of a performance, so grab your tickets as soon as you can, or stand to miss your chance altogether. But you know the rules: Basic b*tches not wanted.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq The World Tour 2020 will be held at The Star Vista on Feb 27, 2020. Tickets are now on sale here. More information here.
