This October, head to Pasir Panjang Power Station for this comedic Shakespeare mashup

In serious need of some cheering up? This October, the Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT) is set to stage the hilarious Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), and you’re cordially invited to be part of the fun.

Happening from Oct 30 onwards at Pasir Panjang Power Station, the show will be pure Shakespearean gold as it goes through a whopping 37 plays in 97 minutes, played by three actors.

In case you’re unsure what to expect, you’ll essentially discover a comedic mashup of Shakespeare’s best plays through song and dance. For instance, audiences will be treated to the fastest-ever Hamlet production, shown the greatest sins and tragedies, and more. Fast paced and irreverent, audiences can look forward to discovering London’s longest running comedy right here in Singapore.

Speaking of which, the unique heritage venue hosting the show has a cool bar too. Which means if restrictions continue to ease, audiences will be able to grab grub and drinks while catching the show.

But rest assured you won’t have to be a diehard fan of Shakespeare to enjoy the lighthearted affair. Just one big comedic mashup, the play will have you laughing till your sides ache and headed home with a smile on your face.
