Singapore’s favourite cabaret and comedy show Boom Boom Room makes a spectacular comeback

Dreamt up by local musician and composer Dick Lee back in 1991, Boom Boom Room is a boldly Singaporean cabaret and comedy show that features everything from tunes to jokes. And this Nov 24-Dec 19, the popular musical extravaganza is making a comeback, with none other than OG diva Kumar at the helm.

Presenting reigning drag queens and world-class performers, the elaborate, fun-filled affair will feature an original music piece by Lee himself too.

So head down to Sands Expo and Convention Centre to see the stars rock the stage in a performance that is said to defy normative standards in the traditional performing arts scene.

‘Cause while Kumar will obviously put on his risque comedy routine to take digs at topics close to the hearts of Singaporeans, he will also be joined by the original queens of Boom Boom Room—Helda and Liz—plus newcomer and veteran drag artist, Vanda Miss Joaquim, who represented Singapore in Drag Race Thailand.

Together, the 2021 rendition of the variety show will embrace a modern twist by boasting thrilling contemporary acts by Volta Wheel, the world’s first holographic Cyr Wheel which will make its debut appearance at Boom Boom Room; as well as a mind-blowing sequence by mentalist and magician, Mark Wong.
