If you thought the Timezone arcade at Westgate could not get any larger, think again.
After reopening on Dec 4 (it used to be situated on the opposite side of the same floor) where the former Isetan used to be, Timezone Westgate is now officially the biggest Timezone outlet in Singapore.
Even more spacious than the popular VivoCity branch, the latest amusement centre spans 18,000 sqf of fun with over 200 of the newest arcade games and attractions in three specific zones, plus themed party rooms and the largest prize store to boot.
The three zones are namely Carnival, Music and Racing; and they deliver state-of-the-art games from world-class entertainment labels including LAI, Bandai-Namco, Sega, Nintendo and Raw Thrills.
At the Carnival zone, enjoy challenging games such as Roll-a-ball which is a Timezone Westgate exclusive. In this derby race, swiftly roll your ball into one of three arenas available and activate your racer to move towards the finish line. There’s also a miniature vintage-style carousel located within the area, bound to be a hit among the little ones.
Then, speed things up at the Racing zone with games like Midnight Maximum Tune, an intense racing game featuring high-speed races on realistic urban roads. And don’t forget to shake it all off at the Music zone, where you can enter a dance battle with friends thanks to cult favourites including Pump It Up, Dance Dance Revolution, Dance Rush Stardom and Mai Mai DX.
In addition to these exciting spots, the new and improved Timezone Westgate is also home to eight bowling lanes suitable for both adults and kids. Exclusive to Timezone is the mini bowling alley, which boasts four lanes and lighter bowling balls which allows easy playing for grandparents and children alike. The rest of the four Social Bowling lanes offer a great experience too, sans the hassle of changing shoes thanks to a special flooring.
Family and friends can also get down at Timezone Westgate’s themed party rooms. Once authorities give the green light, the two rooms will be the perfect place to host events, birthday parties and everything in between.
