Uncle Ringo—often seen popping up at pasar malams and heartland community areas to bring residents fun and joy, wherever it goes. It’s a household name and probably the first local carnival organiser we think of when the topic comes up. And now, good ol’ Uncle Ringo will be doing us all another solid this year-end.
They are bringing in internationally renowned The Great Circus of Europe to Singapore for the very first time, and together, will be setting up a circus within a carnival at the Bayfront Event Space from Dec 20-Jan 1. Entrance to the circus is ticketed, while the carnival rides and stalls charge separately.
The circus itself will be an exhibition of world-class acts—from clowns and contortionists performing unbelievable feats, to acrobats and daredevils on motorbikes making your jaw drop with death-defying stunts. The Great Circus of Europe will only be performing two to three 90min shows a day, so be sure to check the schedule before heading down.
Regardless, a carnival fairground will be set up around the Big Top for you to enjoy. Expect all the usual rides, attractions, and of course, food and drink kiosks to keep you going throughout your time there. Whether you’re looking for something to do during your Christmas or New Year’s holidays, remember that with Uncle Ringo, the fun never ends.
Uncle Ringo and The Great Circus of Europe takes place Dec 20-Jan 1 at the Bayfront Event Space. Tickets from $70 for the circus show.
