Boutiques Singapore will be bringing over 300 brands to its year-end shopping fair, dubbed The Gifting Edition 2024.
The shopping extravaganza will be held at the sprawling F1 Pit Building from Nov 22 to 24, where more than 200 exclusive launches will be brought to bear by an active community of participating brands.
This year, in recognition of a new partnership between Boutiques Singapore and the DesignSingapore Council (Dsg), local design talents are set to take the spotlight at the holiday-themed shopping event.
Highlights among the Singapore-based designers in attendance include Studio Kallang and Gin&G, both of which have been shortlisted to showcase their intricate interior design pieces at the fair.
There will also be new joiners like women-founded Romi Beauty, which specialises in multifunctional makeup with skincare benefits for the modern woman; Opoi, a luxury activewear brand focusing on high-performance materials with a touch of European class; and Tatsu Maker Works, which places our vibrant hawker culture at the centre of its apparel.
Meanwhile, more than a few returning Singapore-based brands will be taking the opportunity, as we mentioned earlier, to launch new products at The Gifting Edition 2024.
These range from a Raffles Collection inspired by the grande dame of Singaporean hospitality, the Raffles Hotel, by Sette, a fashion brand known for its mom-and-daughter coords, to a collaborative pottery collection made with a Japanese 12-generation master potter, Hiroshige Kato, from Singapore-based pottery brand ves.studio.
Don’t forget to spread the Christmas cheer across the wider community when you shop at booths run by charity organisations like Art:Dis, Babes and Sew Can We, each doing their part for their specific beneficiaries.
Shoppers who need a break from all that shopping to rest and recharge can find respite at the newer lounge area, though they can also head to two rooms filled with F&B-focused brands for nosh and the potential to snag gastronomic gifts.
For immediate pleasure, there’ll be American barbecue joint Smokey’s BBQ doling out more ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork and crispy tater tots than you can stomach, along with Paparch for Muslim-friendly burnt cheesecakes both traditional and innovative, thanks to new flavours like peanut butter jam and mocha.
Otherwise, visitors can always make a pre-order at choux pastry specialist Boms & Buns for their Boutique Singapore-exclusive Christmas Mini Choux Tower Centrepiece, grab a (non-temperature-sensitive) cake or three from Nesuto for last-minute pot luck parties, or some bottles from Razel’s Rum Treats to bring the house down.
The Gifting Edition 2024 is a ticketed event. Each entry costs $6, and you can get your tickets here.
