Hari Raya may be officially over but the celebrations continue.
Raya at Sports Hub is set to offer a weekend of fun activities for the whole family on May 4 and 5 at Kallang Wave Mall. Look forward to Malay cultural experiences, performances, workshops, and more.
Keep the festive spirit alive with cultural showcases that highlight the beauty and depth of Malay traditions. Traditional Malay dances, Kompang ensemble renditions, and a Silat martial arts demonstration will provide a rich cultural experience for all.
Visitors can explore Malay heritage with well-loved activities like henna art, and workshops on batik painting, and modern and Arabic calligraphy. The best part? Participation is free.
Adding a contemporary touch to popular Hari Raya hits are rising star Shazza and 2009 Singapore Idol winner Sezairi Sezali. They will entertain with live performances and meet fans on May 4 and 5 respectively.
Head outside to capture Insta-worthy moments at the Raya pop-up installation at Water Sports Centre from now till 19 May.
For the first time ever, Singapore Sports Hub has partnered with National Gallery Singapore to bring art right to Raya at Sports Hub. Visitors can catch the Roving Art Truck on May 4 at OCBC Square. Featuring artworks by prominent Singaporean and Southeast Asian artists, visitors can learn about and engage with artworks from the National Collection, and participate in complimentary hands-on activities like colouring fans with Raya motifs.
