If you can’t visit wintry lands for snow-filled fun, then let them come to you. Snow City, Singapore’s first indoor snow centre located in Jurong, has elevated its signature winter wonderland experience with loads of new attractions. Here’s what you can expect at the revamped Snow City.
Glacier Luge: The star attraction is the new three-storey, 120-metre luge, officially certifed by the Singapore Book of Records as the largest glacial luge in the country. Built next to the original 60-metre slide in partnership with Shenhu Ice Singapore , visitors above the age of seven can get a great rush of adrenaline as they whiz down on the new Glacier Luge filled with thrilling twists and turns. . The ride is Snow City’s 13th creation to set a record.
The Rainbow Frosty Playground: This extended 30-metre-long gallery features interactive displays made entirely of solid coloured ice blocks. Carved from real ice, visitors can play around the ice that has been transformed into a train and slide. There are plenty of photo opportunities with sculptures of a racing car, ice cream wall, a chef’s house and ice fairy garden.
The Snow Village: Inspired by the beauty of the Alps, visitors can enjoy soft, real snowfall. Kids can explore a mini-ice maze and play in the snowy field, building snowmen and creating their own winter wonderland.
Drift on Ice Arena: Continue the fun at Singapore’s only bumper car arena on ice, which is also certified by the Singapore Book of Records.
