Breathe, stretch, sweat. Glow Festival by Prudential returns to Marina Bay Sands’ Event Plaza and Rain Oculus from Jul 6 to 21 with 16 days of transformative, holistic experiences to awaken your wellness.
The festival, part of the Singapore Tourism Board’s Wellness Festival Singapore, will offer more than 70 highly anticipated workouts and wellness workshops across six wellness zones.
Headlining the event are Lululemon global ambassadors, celebrity instructors, and inspirational runners leading the brand’s weekend workouts, with specially curated masterclasses and workshops across three weekends.
The festival offers a diverse range of other activities that cater to every aspect of well-being – mind, body, spirit, community, and soul – to inspire and motivate participants to discover themselves and rejuvenate holistically.
Moreover, Prudential Singapore will be presenting a six-week mentorship programme, Project Glow Up, through which aspiring wellness professionals can be mentored by fitness, food, and beverage experts and pursue a career in wellness.
Get a running start on the weekend, Lululemon-style
Join Get Into Strides with Lululemon each weekend at sunrise for a 5-km run around Marina Bay. Each run will be led by a different ambassador and is limited to 70 participants. On Jul 21, Korean celebrity coach Min-kyu Park will lead the run.
Participants will have exclusive access to warm-up and cool-down sessions at the Main Studio with a 4-metre by 7.5-metre high-definition LED screen wall showcasing beautiful vistas from nature tailored to each workout session, and the adjacent Recovery Space which has refreshing ice baths, an Almora Botanica Face Yoga Fitness Bar, and Therabody equipment to reduce muscle soreness. Included in each ticket is a limited-edition Lululemon x Glow Festival T-shirt, a commemorative medal, breakfast bites and a slew of Wellness Bazaar vouchers in a swanky swag bag worth up to $150.
Glow Festival will also feature over 50 sweat sessions led by Lululemon ambassadors and partners from around the world, in celebration of the brand’s 10-year journey in Singapore.
Highlights include Aarmy Bootcamp and Aarmy Cycle led by co-founder Akin Akman, yoga sessions by Dr Chelsea Jackson Roberts, internationally-acclaimed Peloton yoga teacher and Lululemon ambassador.
Ten percent from every ticket purchased for Lululemon classes will be donated to Samaritans of Singapore.
Activities that are free for all
Additionally, out of the Glow Festival’s six zones, four – The Oracle by Alpha Wave Experience (not suitable for those who have epilepsy, are pregnant or under 16), Virtual Reality sessions, Expressive Artmaking, and The Bliss Room – are free.
The Oracle by Alpha Wave Experience is a one-of-a-kind installation presented in Singapore for the first time. Through music, frequency, and light, participants are guided into a meditative state that enhances relaxation and introspection.
VR interactive sessions immerse participants in thrilling virtual environments for five minutes. Besides offering a glimpse into different places, they also promote creativity, exploration, and wellness.
In collaboration with circular fashion enterprise Cloop and local artists, the Expressive Artmaking station invites attendees to focus on individual art pieces using multi-coloured fabric strips and to co-create a communal tapestry piece of art.
Throughout each day, The Bliss Room offers a curated schedule of 10-minute short-form sessions for anyone seeking to experience the transformative effects of breathwork, meditation, and sound healing.
