The June school holidays have finally arrived! Plan some fun activities right here in Singapore with your family instead of disappearing overseas. There’s no shortage of activities to keep them busy throughout the month, be it indoors or outdoors.
Children’s Season 2024 with Children’s Museum Singapore and Museum Roundtable
Families can enjoy a slew of exciting programmes across 21 participating Museum Roundtable (MR) museums and galleries, all anchored on the theme “Innovation”. Explore the Signature Programmes comprising a series of four interactive performances hosted across four participating MR museums and galleries, namely Asian Civilisations Museum, Children’s Museum Singapore (CMSG), Former Ford Factory and Singapore Maritime Gallery.
At CMSG, step into a new hawker-themed exhibition titled Into the Hawkerverse. Then sign up for Oodles of Noodles by Zip Zap Zoom Collective (Jun 15 and 22, 11am and 4pm). Parents and children aged five to 12 ($20 per parent-child pair) are invited to join the main character Izzy on a sensory journey through Armenian Street as she searches for innovative recipes. Participants will also get to create their very own fusion laksa craft at the end of the trail

Children’s Festival 2024, Gardens by the Bay
At Supertree Grove till Jun 22, expect the unexpected. Family time and bonding are a highlight at Southeast Asia’s only Inside Out 2-themed outdoor carnival, sponsored by Singapore Tourism Board and led by Families for Life Council. Admission is free, except for selected activities.
The interactive areas showcase beloved Inside Out characters, including Joy, Anger, Sadness, Fear, and Disgust, as well as new emotions Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, and Embarrassment that return to Riley’s mind.
Among the installations is Kaleidoscope of Memories, which features colourful, illuminated Memory Orbs and is inspired by Riley’s long-term memory storage facility. By scanning a QR code, kids can create Memory Orbs: select a character reflecting their emotion, pose for a photo, and upload the orb to the Kaleidoscope of Memories, where it will appear on an animated wall.
Visitors can also look forward to The Medley of Emotions, a special edition of the nightly Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, at 7.45pm and 8.45pm. There are also free Disney- and Pixar-themed activities, movie screenings, and more.

Zoolympix at Mandai Wildlife Reserve and River Wonders
Zoolympix is back after a five-year break. A combination of sports with nature’s wonders, the event features fun and interactive activities inspired by the amazing natural abilities of wildlife.
See animals such as the elephant, ring-tailed lemur, manatee and archerfish in a whole new light. Lift crates with different weights, inspired by the impressive weightlifting abilities of elephants, or try cycling and comparing your power with an electric eel’s 650 volts. And remember to pick up the Zoolympix Challenge Booklet for activity stations and Instagrammable photo points.
The new Champions Village is a must-visit where you can redeem medal-like pins after completing activities. Hands-on activities include making a Zoolympix torch or a pouch from recycled PVC canvas. Meanwhile, the zoo’s amphitheatre features new ambassadors like the masked palm civet and bearded pig. Zoolympix runs from now till Aug 25.

Marine Marvels, Downtown East
Inflatable obstacle course, digital sound and light installations, koi fed with milk bottles… Until Jul 28, Downtown East presents Marine Marvels, an educational programme celebrating ocean conservation and environmental awareness.
Everyone will get to take home meaningful memories, lessons and inspirations from the Wave Wonder Zone at Wild Wild Wet, Glow Coast Carnival with six family rides, Neon Playground at Open-Air Carpark, interactive education installations at Event Square, and Marine Mealtime where you can feed koi using a milk bottle. Kids have the chance to meet marine mascots and learn why they are endangered.

Children’s Season, National Museum of Singapore
Discover our natural world at the National Museum of Singapore with Get Curious: All About Play! till Jun 23. Learn how to protect the environment through a series of interactive installations and programmes such as Story of the Forest, a digital display of plants and animals from the William Farquhar Collection of Natural History Drawings.
Other activities include the rainforest-inspired Ranger Buddies: It All Begins With C.O.U.R.A.G.E, an installation in partnership with Mandai X, Animal Portrait Squeegee Painting by Arterly Obsessed (Jun 1, 2 and 8), Building My Forest Rubber Stamping by WahSoSimple (Jun 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23), and My Woven Basket by Lollibox (Jun 1, 2, 8 and 9).
There is also the Sustainable Outdoor Water and Plastic Playground by Mindful Space (Jun 1, 2 and 8) with sustainable activities and play ideas, upcycled craft workshops, multisensory performances, and more. For this, you must accompany your child and bring a change of clothes.

Bubble Fiesta at Adventure Cove Waterpark
Bubbles of all shapes and sizes are taking over Adventure Cove Waterpark from Jun 1 to Aug 11. There are eight immersive zones of bubbly magic – visitors of all ages can strut their dance moves under a blast of bubbles at Bubble Boogie; bash and dash their way through inflatables at Bubble Rumble; dodge, hit or catch inflatable bubbles at Bubble Blizzard; play with giant inflatable bubbles at Bubble Bounce; and have a go at being a DJ.
There are even bubble-inspired food and free treats. Head to Blu Ice Treats for Bubbly Potato Balls and Bay Restaurant for Bubblin’ Brewzza and Bubbly Pop Croffles. For a limited time daily, Adventure Cove Waterpark is also giving away ice-cream sandwiches (just look out for the ice cream cart beside Bay Restaurant).
Various ticket options are available. Tickets for the Bubble Fiesta Package are priced from $40 per adult and $33 per child and include admission to Adventure Cove Waterpark, the eight immersive zones of bubble-themed activities, and a complimentary Bubble Rainbow Twirler.
