An exhibition, a film, new whiskies and more – The Heart of The Spirit by The Macallan is an eye-opening journey for all spirited enthusiasts. Happening from now till Sep 22 at Clarke Quay Warehouse B, the immersive experience captures the brand’s storied past in commemoration of its 200th anniversary.
Tickets are priced at $48, but the journey promises to be an interesting one. The Heart of The Spirit experience begins with a tribute to its pioneers and their contributions. Guests can flip through a limited-edition book (only 1000 units are available worldwide) featuring 200 poems, beautiful illustrations and footnotes by Jenni Fagan and Javi Aznarez that reflect a wealth of stories and memories gathered since 1824.
The 200 years of The Macallan’s history continues through an immersive digital experience featuring animation, sound design and specialist projection techniques. Illustrations by Javi Aznarez have been animated to tell this tale. As guests explore the brand’s story, they will be presented with a tasting of The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old.
Finally, be transported into the future with a special bespoke cocktail served to honour The Macallan’s legacy. Guests can also discover about the brand’s new limited-edition creations, including the dual-chambered Time:Space featuring an exceptionally rare 1940 vintage and a 2018 vintage, both bottled in 2024, and the single malt Time:Space Mastery.
