Calling all music-lovers, families, foodies and paw-rents! The annual Singapore River Festival is back for its seventh edition, marking its first physical comeback since 2019. From Sep 7 to Oct 1, the highly anticipated month-long festival will be a celebration of local heritage, culture and innovation.

1. Go on a mixed reality adventure

Historical landmarks come to life with interactive storytelling. Discover the untold tales of Singapore’s rich heritage as augmented reality (AR) brings to life an experience through Saba’s Time Quest. From the founding of Singapore to its evolution into a global metropolis, this AR adventure promises an unforgettable experience for all ages.

2.  Indulge in a culinary journey with Singapore River Signatures

The much-awaited Singapore River Signatures (SRS) food festival returns with a curated selection of the city’s best eateries and food vendors. Renowned chefs from various F&B establishments have specially crafted SRS dishes, such as the Lobster & Citrus Multi-Coloured Pasta Arlecchino by Pasta Fresca, Flavour of the Sea Vermicelli by Shrimp Prawn Seafood, and Bruschetta Flight by Brewerkz.

This vibrant street party will get everyone grooving with an eclectic blend of music curated by music-centric bar Offtrack and skillful DJs at spinning booths. Take part in arcade games and Tamiya racing – all in line with the spirit of the Singapore Grand Prix Season. 

4.  Be dazzled by colourful light displays

Cavenagh Bridge

Witness Singapore’s three iconic quays – Cavenagh Bridge, Read Bridge, and Alkaff Bridge – transform into a mesmerising canvas of colours with light art installations from Sep 7 to Oct 1. Inspired by the dreams of Singaporeans, each bridge represents a different dream: Future Progression, Lively Ensemble, and Garden City.

5. Catch homegrown music performers at Rhythm of the River

A line-up of performances on Sep 7 and 8 by homegrown acts will entertain audiences at Read Bridge, River Promenade in front of Clarke Quay Central and Riverside Point.

6. Take care of your physical and mental well-being at Wellness Fest 

In collaboration with the Health Promotion Board, engage your mind with an exciting Word Hunt race, amp up the energy with Trampoline workout class, then round off your day by settling down for our Serenity Sketching sessions. It’s all happening on Sep 9 and 10.

7. Enjoy the Moonlight Fiesta

On Sep 16 and 17, celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival by immersing yourself in curated activities like Bear Pour Keychain, Window Art, and Lantern Making workshops. Gather the family to enjoy lantern displays along the Singapore River at Robertson Walk.

8. Have a Purrfect Day to Night Out 

Purrfect Day to Night Out from Sep 23 to 24 is dedicated to all furry companions. Join the much-anticipated Best Dressed Competition, then visit the on-site retail haven for a diverse selection of pet products. Plus, there are complimentary pet health checks and talks by experts in the field of pet care.

9. Experience Japan at home at World X Fest 2023 Japan Edition @ Clarke Quay Central

The grand finale on the final weekend from Sep 29 to Oct 1 introduces World X Fest 2023 Japan Edition @ Clarke Quay Central, a never-done-before matsuri (festival) celebrating Japanese gastronomy, anime and pop music. Explore different festival game stalls helmed by guest cosplayers, or support local artists as they showcase their talents and creations at the Tora-Q Mascot Gijinka Cosplay competition. There will also be J-pop music performances by Japanese artistes, as well as an array of mouth-watering delights from the food stalls.
