Chaos Lab, a wacky lab-themed experience, will debut at Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 on Nov 11 – just in time for the upcoming school holidays.

Presented by Fever, a leading US-based entertainment discovery platform, families are invited to check out 11 interactive activities based on science themes. With each activity, kids are encouraged to let their imaginations run wild.

The first is to become an “intern” for Chaos Lab’s resident mad scientist, Dr Splat. A core highlight of Chaos Lab, Dr Splat will have them exploring the joys of creating, discovering, and playing in fun-filled rooms and stations.

The first step of the experience begins with Dr Splat’s Chaos Lab, a symphony of vibrant, light-reflective murals that greets visitors before they move on to the Decontamination Tunnel to be safely “decontaminated” and prepared for internship.

The new interns are then challenged with Pneumatic Pressure Pipes where they have to try to catch balls blasted from above by the clear, spiral tubes. Both Dr Splat’s Chaos Lab and Pneumatic Pressure Pipes are two new elements that have been added to the Singapore edition.

Visitors also get to work in a Slime Station where they get to make their very own take-home slime.

Other fun areas include the Gravity Wall, where kids can channel their inner Einstein and learn everything about gravity, and the illuminating AR Sand, where they get to build sand sculptures and watch them light up with layers of colour, thanks to a motion sensor projector. The experience ends on a high with the Bubbling Ball Pit, where shoes are off and fun times are on!
