Have you ever wanted to explore the glaciers in Greenland or see animals drinking at a watering hole in Africa? Now you can (well, sort of), at ArtScience Museum’s latest exhibition, Sensory Odyssey: Into the Heart of Our Living World, happening from May 27 to Oct 29, 2023.

After a successful run in Paris, Sensory Odyssey makes its Asian debut here in Singapore and is ready to bring visitors through all seven ecosystems from around the globe. Each environment is showcased through ultra-high-definition, hyper-realistic 8K-resolution video projections, spatial audio and scents, taking each visitor on a journey that engages all the senses.

Into the Deep Sea

Examples of what ecosystem visitors can experience include swimming with giant sperm whales in the ocean near Mauritius, joining animals at a watering hole in the African Savannah, and walking through grasslands with pollinating insects.

Alongside experiencing these ecosystems, visitors will also be able to learn about the flora and fauna, and even bacteria that reside in each ecosystem.

Grassland

Academy Award-winning composer Nicholas Becker composed some of the 360-degree ambient soundscapes and added custom olfactory creations by International Flavors & Fragrances Inc for total immersion.

Echolocation

We recommend that you put your phones down and just soak in the atmosphere. You’ll smell damp wood and vegetation on the forest floor, get a whiff of honey when a bee collects nectar, and hear the sound of a mantis eating its prey.

Tickets start from $21 for adults and $17 for children.
