Singapore Yachting Festival is this month’s hot ticket. The four-day event (April 27–30) by Singapore Marine Guide takes place at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, the first in Southeast Asia to receive Platinum Gold Anchor accreditation.
Whether you’re an experienced or aspiring boater, an adventurous individual or an avid supercar enthusiast, it offers an exhilarating experience for everyone. Here are five ways to enjoy the festival.
1. Take an adrenaline-pumping coastal joyride
Get on a Mission Impossible-like RHIB Ride in a high-speed, military-style inflatable powerboat weaving through waves and secluded coves and beaches. Also discover our Southern Islands’ maritime history from a guide.
2. Be mesmerised by world-class yachts
“The 2023 Singapore Yachting Festival celebrates the vibrant and growing boating culture of Singapore as well as the region. It’s a platform for anyone wanting to be part of the boating scene,” said Wade Pearce, founder of SG Marine Guide.
There will be 50 vessels on display, including 13 Asian Premiere yachts making their first voyage into Singapore waters, cabin cruisers, and catamarans. There are also Asian debuts for Bluegame Yachts’ BGX60, Ferretti Yachts’ 860, and Princess Yachts’ X Class series Princess X95 and the Y72.
3. Dive deep with the fastest underwater scooter
Riding the SEABOB is thrilling for divers of all levels as it combines the best features of a jet ski and an underwater scooter. With a low gear or at 22km/h, it handles currents well and dives to 40m. The control grip regulates speed and provides unparalleled thrust.
4. Relish the inimitable roar of supercars
As the pinnacle of automotive art and design, supercars are fast and beautiful, combining speed, unique design, and rarity to represent exclusivity and luxury. Feel the rush of iconic models from Porsche (Day 1), Lamborghini (Day 2) and Ferrari (Day 3) with their unmistakable roar.
5. Discover the largest floating dance lounge ever
AquaBanas, a US-based manufacturer of deluxe inflatables, presents the ultimate on-the-water party space. Measuring 100 sqm, it makes its debut at the Singapore Yachting Festival and includes a bar and DJ.
Singapore Yachting Festival runs from Apr 27–30; 2pm–8pm daily. General admission tickets are $50 for multiple day entry and $20 per day. Buy your tickets here.
