Get ready for strategic battles… on the table. Despite the popularity of video games, tabletop gaming never really went away.

There are many reasons why people choose to play cards or roll a dice instead of fiddling with a console. It’s a great way to bond with friends and family, the barrier of entry is low, and there’s bound to be something for everyone of all ages.

There is still huge growth and interest in this gaming format, which is why Eliphant, creator of GameStart Asia, and Genesis Frontier, the official distributor of leading Japanese card games in Asia, have organised TableCon Quest.

The inaugural event on Jun 22 and 23 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre is  set to be the ultimate tabletop gaming experience with programmes, demos and activities for players of all ages and interests.

The event will be the first convention where players can try a demo workshop for the Shadowverse Evolve: Gloryfinder format. Japanese trading card game lovers can look forward to demos, workshops and event exclusive cards from Bushiroad. Exclusive TableCon Quest 2024 promotional cards for Cardfight!! Homegrown fun
The Indie Zone will showcase the latest made-in-Singapore tabletop games from six indie game studios and developers. Discover Kickstarter project Isekai The Board Game alongside creations from Good Spirit Games, Centrefire Hobbies, Boardverse and Capital Gains Studio.

Origame, a Singaporean company that designs and publishes modern Asian board games, will present Chock-A-Block, in which players build colourful HDB apartment blocks; and CubeMelt: Getting Dicey, a unique dice game in which players live like an ice cube.

Hammer Fest
Besides tabletop games, hobbyists can gear up for a weekend of miniature artistry. Games store HammerHouse joins forces with TableCon Quest to hold Hammer Fest where attendees can paint a free miniature, preview miniatures from popular games such as Warhammer and Marvel: Crisis Protocol, and try their hands at a quick game demo.

Meet the designers
Renowned game designers, Satoshi Nakamura, president of Yuhodo and designer of Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiss Schwarz, and Eiji Shishido, veteran of the trading card game industry with over a decade of experience, and currently serving as the General Producer for the Ultraman Card Game, will make guest appearances at the event.
