Let’s talk about sex, the Durex way. At the newly launched Durex Academy, the condom brand hopes to change mindsets and attitudes towards sex education by normalising open and frank conversations on the topic.
Established to supplement sex education in schools (which usually focuses on abstinence and sexually transmitted infections), Durex Academy goes beyond by addressing everything you need to know about sex and intimacy.
The open house
For a crash course on the ins and outs of sex and intimacy, sign up for the Durex Academy Open House on Jun 24, 10.30am to 1pm, at Spectrum, Duo Tower.
Through lectures, interactive booths (I know what you are thinking but that’s not it) and breakout sessions, participants will be exposed to topics that tackle everything under the sheets – from sexual etiquette and communication tips to preventing and managing STIs, best condom care practices and even sexual trends and issues that youths encounter in today’s world.
Local personality Chow Jia Hui, and co-founder of the Academy of Relationships & Sex, Dr Angela Tan will lead the conversations about sexual pleasure and health, and hopefully help youths make informed and responsible choices when it comes to their sexual well-being.
