Remember The Cell starring Jennifer Lopez? The visually imaginative 2000 psychological horror film tells the story of a psychotherapist (Lopez) who enters the unconscious mind of a serial killer to save his latest victim.
In Sight Lines Entertainment’s Crack The Case: Mind Hunter, you could be like J.Lo, too, but rest assured, you won’t be trapped with the creepy characters.
Still, it’s a dark journey into the depths of human nature which beckons the important question: Is evil an inherent trait, ingrained at birth, or a byproduct of our environment and upbringing?
Find the clues
Mind Hunter is a live immersive theatre experience where audiences are invited to delve into the psyche of an alleged psychopath to uncover the truth and save innocent lives.
The accused is David Menon who is suspected of abducting three women and taunting authorities. During this dangerous time, renowned psychologist Dr Nithin has partnered with the CID to beta-test Mind Hunter, a device designed to study criminal minds.
In the Mind Hunter House (an old heritage house that has been transformed into the mind of a psychopath), Dr Nithin invites you into Menon’s disturbed mind. To locate the victims and possibly rescue them, you must engage with various characters within Menon’s subconscious.
The story unfolds in five IG-worthy zones where you can explore freely. For the duration of the play, which is approximately 90 minutes, your goal is to solve the mystery before it is too late. You must be willing to dig into the nooks and crannies of the criminally insane, and your decisions have real ramifications.
The characters will interact with you directly, and there will be clues all around the house, so while you aren’t permitted to touch anything, make sure you don’t leave any stone unturned.
The experience is suitable for ages 16 and above and does not contain any horror, gore or blood although there will be themes of family tragedy, murder and revenge.
