It’s shaping up to be quite a year for Harry Potter fans in Singapore, as they can soon look forward to yet another immersive experience themed around J.K Rowling’s wide and wonderful world of wizardry.
Currently, there is Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience along the Coastal Trail in Sentosa (it ends Apr 21). It’s a unique outdoor trail where visitors can discover some of their favourite moments from the Forbidden Forest, encounter mystical creatures such as Hippogriffs, Unicorns, and Nifflers, and practice casting their very own spells.
In Q4 2024, get ready for another magical adventure. Hailing from Germany but made even bigger and better than ever before for Singapore, Harry Potter: Visions of Magic will land in Resorts World Sentosa where it will bring to bear more than 40,000 square feet of unabashed Harry Potter magic – a full 10,000 square feet more than the original German edition.
Iconic sets from the book and film franchise will be brought to life through a mix of lifelike prop and exhibition design, audiovisual experiences and responsive video content.
Potterheads can look forward to memorable scenes recreated in loving detail, such as The Room of Requirement; The Ministry of Magic; Newt’s Menagerie; the Knight Bus; and of course, Hogwarts Castle itself.
Best of all, it’ll be indoors in full, air-conditioned comfort – and therefore, completely sheltered from the whims of inclement weather.
Unfortunately, no release dates have been set for ticket sales just yet, though you can indicate your interest at the waitlist here.
After all, the original German edition of the international wizarding exhibition in Cologne was almost completely sold out, with over 138,000 tickets sold even before its grand opening.
