Wine connoisseurs listen up—Soneva Kiri in Koh Kood, Thailand, is accepting reservations for a limited number of guests for “The James Suckling Wine Experience at Soneva Kiri” from May 30 to June 1.
During the two-night stay, you’ll get to rub shoulders with grape guru James Suckling himself (he’s Asia Tatler’s wine editor), as well as a host of other like-minded wine lovers. There’ll be activities like a wine appreciation seminar, a picnic lunch on the beach and two wine dinners, plus you’ll get to take home a souvenir Lalique ‘100 points’ glass.
The resort itself isn’t too shabby, either, with its ultra-luxe pool villas surrounded by verdant greenery—in fact, it shone at the recent Smith Hotel Awards 2013. And it’s easy to get to Koh Kood from Bangkok—get comprehensive directions here.
Prices start from USD3,600 (S$4545) per person for a Bayview Villa Suite; seats are strictly limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. See the Soneva Kiri website for details.
