You can now buy tax- and duty-absorbed alcohol from DFS without travelling

First they offered travellers the option to buy unlimited bottles of wine and sake, tax- and duty-free, from their shops found across all Changi Airport terminals. Now, as if answering all our prayers, travel retailer DFS now offers the option for non-travellers to purchase tax- and duty-absorbed wines and sakes too.

They’ve launched new platform iShopChangiWines.com, essentially an online store, allowing one and all to make their purchases there. Unlike iShopChangi.com, which carries all sorts of duty-free products including spirits, iShopChangiWines.com only sells duty-absorbed wines, including Champagne and sparkling wines, as well as sakes.

, You can now buy tax- and duty-absorbed alcohol from DFS without travelling

You can only buy up to 30 litres worth (roughly 40 standard bottles) each day, but hey, that’s still a lot. What’s more, even travel exclusive bottlings are available, which is another plus.

There’s even free delivery if you manage to hit a value of $150; easy. Or, simply choose to pick up your bottles yourself at Changi Airport Terminal 3’s Arrival Hall, near where Paris Baguette is, once you’re done shopping on iShopChangiWines.com.

If you’re looking to buy spirits, liquors, beers or other categories of alcohol from DFS other than wine and sake, it’s only still available at the physical stores and on iShopChangi.com, meaning you still got to travel and present your passport in order to complete those purchases.

Fingers crossed all alcohol types will be available tax- and duty-paid without travelling one day.
