Indonesian sports event the Mount Rinjani Ultra Race is set to start on August 17, featuring two running categories: The 52km race (US$100 (S$128)), called the Mount Rinjani Ultra, and the 21km route (US$50 (S$64)) known as the Rinjani Altitude Run.
Set in North Lombok, the challenging race takes participants through dense tropical vegetation, around Lake Segara Anak and up a sharp incline to the top of Mount Rinjani.
