Two Singaporean universities just came out on top in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2016 list with National University of Singapore (NUS) coming out first and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) at the second spot, sharing a joint position with China’s Peking University.
Over 200 universities from 22 countries have been reviewed and this is the first time NUS has topped the list scoring 77.4 for its overall performance. NUS had previously appeared in the top 25 on the World University Rankings, holding on to its reputation as a leading global university. NTU is the youngest university to have made it to the top ten, scoring a total of 72.9 on an overall and has also jumped over 100 spots in the World University Rankings. Makes us wish we were going back to school! Sort of.
