The famous #InstagramTree at Punggol Waterway Park will be removed on Dec 16, so twee Instagrammers are getting ready to take pictures of it before it falls. On Wednesday (Dec 9), the Housing Development Board (HDB) declared it dead, and its post went viral as many people on social media started waxing nostalgia about its upcoming removal.
You can get to Punggol Waterway Park via bus from the Punggol MRT station, although park visitors are advised to stay away from the tree because its branches are falling off. You’ll look so cute wearing a hard hat in the picture, though.
